Story Management and Personal Settings

If you want to organize your story, read the following!

Story Management

From any page on the site, click on your profile image at the top right of the page and click on "View Profile". This will lead you to your profile page where you can manage all the stories you have published/drafted.

When you hover your cursor over a story, three buttons will appear at the top right, enabling you to use the "Hide Story", "Pin Story", or "Delete Story" features (the three icons on the top right-hand corner of the story thumbnail).

Hiding a story will prevent it from appearing on the home page, the profile page, or any search result pages on Penana. However, the story is not password protected and can still be read by anyone who knows the story link (URL). You can use the "Hide Story" feature with the "Editor's Suggestions" feature to allow your draft to be reviewed and revised by your collaborators before it is published officially.

The "Pin Story" feature will place the story on top of your profile page, marking it as a special recommendation from you. Up to three stories can be topped at the same time on a profile page.

The "Delete Story" feature will permanently delete the story. If the story is a collaborative work, please make sure to get permission first from other writers before deleting it.

Personal Settings

The top of the section of the profile page presents your profile and information. By clicking on "Edit Profile" button ( marked in red ), you can modify your profile information. You can also change the interface language and select which languages and age-rating of the story will be displayed on the home page.

Clicking on the gray lock button will take you to the account settings page where you can change your username, email address and password. You can also click on other tabs on your profile page to see a list of Writing Contests you've participated in, your followers, your stream, and the badges you've earned, etc.
